…and probably not being an entrepreneur at all
- Evenings and weekends are just for fun
- You need a boss to tell you what to do
- Working long hours at your current job that you love so much
- Friends and family are more important
- You just want to be like everybody else and nothing more
Evenings for fun. If you are into (a lot of) fun, parties, or anything else that is not work, you will probably not want to be a part time entrepreneur. Being a part time entrepreneur means you are always busy, and once you left the regular job, you’re heading for the entrepreneur job. Yes, part time entrepreneurs also have fun in their life, but they just value work more, so it’s not for you. Now, get out there and have some fun.
Having a boss. Having a boss telling you what to do is easier and you have to do less thinking. You just have to do what they want, and you don’t have to worry about anything else. So if you don’t want to take the hard way in life, part time entrepreneurship is not for you. So don’t think anymore about it.
Love your current job. If everything is perfect, why look for changes?
Friends and familly are more important. If you have a regular job, and 2-3 kids and a wife (husband) at home waiting, you might want to spend some quality time at home. They need you, so go home now.
Being a regular person. Some people don’t want to stand out. They are perfectly all right being in the crowd, and don’t feel like doing something special. But entrepreneurship is something special – so you don’t want to do it.
That’s again one of my personal beliefs, and that’s why I’m writing an entrepreneurship blog and not a book about it. So don’t blame me if you don’t like it.
